Casual shoes/boots to wear with dresses and skirts?

I cant find shoes to wear with a skirt! Can anyone suggest a style and/or a place to buy shoes/boots that fill the following criteria...


1. Not too smart! I need casual, so no high heels


2. I have to be able to walk in them, run even, so again no high heels.


3. I need them to give me a bit of height, so some sort of platform sole?





Something like pixie boots would be ok but they are always so flat or else with a massive high heel.





Help, I have loads of dresses but no day time shoes for them!

Reply:you can wear anything with a skirt. if you want the casual look, go for flip flops. there are also low heeled boots that would look good with skirts.
Reply:how about some very low heels, or what i think are really smart is cowboy boots!! pretty expensive if you get the real deal, so try ebay and vintage stores.

Reply:Ballet flats. Those are the best for alot of the criteria. How ever they won%26#039;t make you tall.
