Casual or dressy shoes?

Ladies, need some fashion advice. I just bought a dress that has a casual-like Aztec print throughout but it is made in silk, which is elegant and luxurious. My question is, should I pair the dress with casual shoes to match the casual print or pair the dress with fancy sandals to match the elegant silk fabric?

By casual, I don%26#039;t mean thong sandals either but maybe a sandal in a tumbled leather versus patent leather. Get the idea? I plan to wear the dress to go out to dinner, not Taco Bell but not quite Ruth%26#039;s Chris Steak House.

Casual or dressy shoes?
Depends on what the dress looks like, exactly.

But tumbled leather might create a rough contrast against smooth silk.

I%26#039;d go with patent leather to give the overall appearance of your outfit a together, finished look.

If you%26#039;re still having trouble, try on different shoes and back a few feet away from the mirror.

Not so far that you can%26#039;t catch small details, but far enough to get an idea of how the dress is affected by the shoes.
Reply:Id wear flats...they are cute and can be casual or fancy depending on what you what you wear it with like what youre wearing it with, it sounds casual and classy, the exact appearance you want if youre going out to a nice dinner, but not extremely fancy
Reply:A guys point of view. Go with the sandals in a tumbled leather. sounds good to me.
Reply:well by the sounding of the dress cant tell but i would say if u go casual dont go to casual but match it with the dress like some sandals with the same designs as the dress but if u go wih dressy dont go to dressy like heels or pumps so my answer is casual
