Casual Shoes?

I need to get a pair of shoes that are nice but also more casual than dressy. (Preferrably black or brown). I wear jeans and a shirt and used to wear those Skecher brown thick shoes or heeled loafer but dont think they are in style anymore. I see lots wearing those flats that come in all colors (Old Navy sells them - polka dots, etc.) Sorta similar to ballet shoes but I%26#039;m very short and need a LITTLE heel so my pants dont drag on the groud - so those flats wont work for me.

Can anyone give me pics or ideas of shoes that are comfortable and look nice with jeans and a evening cool-hip shirt? (No heels or something very expensive)

Thanks.

Reply:I%26#039;ve seen ballet-flat style shoes that actually have a little bit of a wedge heel on them (probably only an inch, but from the front you still get the look of the cute flat.)

Also, I see (harking back 25 years to my junior high days) that wedge-heel shoes are really making a comeback - even the fabric-wrapped espadrille type. There is something %26quot;less dressy%26quot; about a wedge heel, they come in a range of heel heights, and are perfect with jeans. (Usually a rounder, more casual toe, usually cloth instead of leather ...)

I would look for something like that.
Reply:maybe try a nice mocasin... they are in style and very comfy.
Reply:kitten heels?
